The future of F-16…

…is bright, isn’t it? I’m not just talking about last orders and the upgrades we can read about for months now. Real life exercises show the meetings with Eurofighters, Grippens, etc. don’t look like the “old F-16 frame – believers” would like to see it.

To be honest, I’d like to see them more in USAF, especially concerning global economy condition and well known (military) budget story. No more F-22s, JSF still in development and fast aging air fleet…

Other countries are not sleeping challenging US air supremacy. Look at MiG/Su updates and the voices coming from joint exercises with IAF (Indian Air Force).

I wonder how it developes… In the meantime, look at at the last available F-16 cockpit pic from Lockheed (F-16IN Super Viper):
